Buying a Property
Buying a property is an easy process, we strongly recommend a visit to Budapest to get a feel for the city and the area you are considering buying in.
Once you have selected the property you like it take approx. 1-2 months for the sale to complete. The legal process is very straightforward as Hungary has sophisticated legal system which is on par with the rest of Europe.
Managing your Property
Renting out and managing you apartment can be easily done. The reason we only work with new apartments is they require little to no maintenance and they are very easily rented. During your buying process will put you in touch with a rental agency who will provide a full managed service for your property, Generally this costs 10% of the rental income per year.
Legal Matters
The legal process of buying a property is straight forward, and costs approx. 1% of the property price. The legal system in Hungary is quite advanced on par with the rest of the EU. You can purchase a property through a company which can be Tax efficient, The cost of company formation are around €750.
